Case Custom Designs began not as a business idea, but as a calling.
It started during a hard season of life. A close family member was going through a difficult time, and although we were newly married, had just bought a home, and were raising six kids — with not a penny to spare — I felt a deep pull to help. We didn’t have money to give, but I knew we could do something. And that’s when Case Custom Designs was born.
What started as a small business creating custom-printed memory photo blocks for quilting and crafts quickly became something more. As we grew, we expanded into printing on fabric, adding handmade headbands, scrunchies, and t-shirts — all created with care and a desire to bring joy and connection to others. From the very beginning, our mission was simple: to help people.
Over time, our family member recovered — a blessing we are forever thankful for — and Case Custom Designs continued to grow beyond anything we could have imagined. That growth led me to my next mission: finding a cause that truly stirred my soul, one that I could support not just financially, but wholeheartedly.
Through prayer and a series of what can only be described as divinely guided connections, I met Mark. At first, he was simply one of my husband’s business contacts. But after some time, Mark shared that he was leaving corporate America to pursue something new — a calling of his own — with PATH International, an organization dedicated to empowering orphaned children living in the harshest places by partnering with families, community leaders and churches to eliminate extreme poverty by addressing vulnerabilities, providing education and creating opportunities to empower those who have been forgotten.
When my husband told me about Mark’s new journey, something inside me clicked. I had been praying for direction, searching for that spark that would tell me, “This is it — this is where you’re meant to make a difference.” And there it was.
That’s how our partnership with PATH International began. It felt like everything had come full circle — from helping one family member in need to supporting an organization that helps countless individuals every single day.
